SUSTAINABILITY
From conception through to completion of every project we undertake for our clients in Film, Television, Exhibitions and Commercials, sustainability is built into every job we do.
L2L are dedicated to facilitating each production company with their ALBERT initiative or any alternative scheme they’re enlisted to. Please read on below to see how we strive to keep every project more sustainable for the future..
ON EVERY PROJECT WE STRIVE TO:
Use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) timber, harvested from a renewable plantation source.
Intelligent use of materials, minimising waste and maximising usage.
We keep a record of the amount of timber and paint used for each project.
Virtually all of the paints used are non-toxic and water based.
Surplus paint is used for base coats when available.
Where possible we repurpose elements of sets, to use on future builds.
At the end of each production the scenery is stored for future use or disposed of in accordance to the productions instructions.
Any scenery that’s disposed of is sorted and recycled where possible.
